This file enables all your communication applications and tools to use CTB Connection Tools. It should be placed in the Control Panels folder.
This is the list of communication ports (both real and virtual) on your computer. Select a virtual port to customize it.
Click this button to create a virtual port. Virtual ports enable your applications to employ CTB Connection Tools.

When the modem emulation is enabled, you can use the "¶" symbol in this string: this symbol will be substituted with the dialing string when a dial (ATDxxxxx) command is sent through the port.
This string will be substituted into the configuration string (replacing the "¶" symbol) when the Connection Tool should be configured for listening to incoming connection requests.
Select this option if you do not want to receive incoming connection requests through this port.
Select this option if you want the Connection Tool to wait for a connection request only when the "ATA" modem command is sent through this port.
Select this option if you want the Connection Tool to wait for a connection request only if the AutoAnswer register "S0" was set to a non-zero value.
Select this option if you want the Connection Tool to wait for a connection request all the time this port is open.
When this option is selected, opening the port results in an attempt to open a connection. If this attempt fails, the port is not opened.

PortConnector makes attempts to open a connection all the time this port is open.
